Sheetz runs four separate coffee systems inside one building and prices them very differently.
Most people only ever use one of them, which is why the chain gets called cheap by some customers
and expensive by others. Both are describing a real experience of the same store.
This covers all four: the self serve airpots, the made to order Coffeez bar, the cold brew line
and the frozen builds. Every price is from the current board, and the calorie spread across this
section is wider than on any food board.
The practical question at the end is which system suits which order, because picking the wrong one
is how a coffee run gets expensive.

Prices come from the Sheetz ordering system for a Pennsylvania reference store and vary by location. Calorie counts are the values Sheetz publishes for the base build. Updated 17 July 2026. Found something wrong? Tell us.
System one: the airpots
Self serve brewed coffee at $2.49 for hot or iced. This is where the Sheetz
Bros. roasts actually live, it refills through the day, and you build it yourself at the
condiment station. Black, it carries a negligible calorie count.
For a commuter this is the whole argument. A daily cup at $2.49 is
$12.45 a working week and about $622.50 a year, against several times
that for a built drink. Nothing else on this board competes on that basis and nothing needs to.
System two: the Coffeez bar
Made to order espresso, built after you order it on the touchscreen.
Hot Cappuccino at $4.79 and 244 calories is representative of the hot
side. This is a different product from the airpots rather than a more expensive version of the
same one, and comparing their prices directly is the mistake behind most complaints.
The customisation is the real feature. Syrup counts are adjustable, which changes the calorie
figure substantially at no change in price. A flavoured build ordered at reduced pumps is the
single most useful thing to know about this section.
System three: cold brew
Cold brew sits on its own line, starting around $3.19, with flavoured
versions above it. It is stronger and less acidic than the iced airpot coffee and it is priced
between the two other systems.
Seasonal flavours land here first and heaviest. Pumpkin builds run from late summer and
peppermint takes over in winter, and both push across cold brew, frozen and the shake board at
once, which is why the same flavour appears on our
shake page too.
System four: frozen, where the calories are
The frozen line is coffee in name and dessert in practice.
Make Your Own Frozen Latte at
$3.99 and 95 calories is the base build, and the flavoured versions climb
fast from there. Ordered alongside food, a frozen build is the item most likely to double the
calorie total of the stop.
That is not an argument against them. It is an argument for knowing which system you are
ordering from, because the gap between a $2.49 airpot cup and a flavoured
frozen build is both the largest price gap and the largest calorie gap on this board.
Our take
Which system should you use?
For a daily habit, the airpots, without hesitation. At $2.49 a cup with your own
milk and sugar, it is the cheapest coffee routine available in most of the seven states Sheetz
operates in, and the roast is the same one the bar uses.
For an occasional built drink, the Coffeez bar, ordered with reduced syrup. For summer, cold brew.
The frozen line is a dessert and worth treating as one, which is easier to do once you have seen
it next to the shake board. The full coffee page lists every
build with its price and count.

Questions on this guide
How much is a coffee at Sheetz?
Self serve hot or iced coffee is $2.49. Made to order espresso drinks from the Coffeez bar start higher, and frozen builds run from $3.99 upward.
Is Sheetz coffee any good?
The Sheetz Bros. roast is solid and it is the same coffee across the self serve pots, the espresso bar and the take home bags. The self serve wall in particular is better than its price suggests.
Does Sheetz have cold brew?
Yes, on its own line starting around $3.19, with flavoured and seasonal versions above it. It sits on the made to order side rather than the self serve pots.
What is the lowest calorie coffee at Sheetz?
Black self serve coffee, which carries a negligible count. Among flavoured builds, ordering at reduced syrup pumps is the change that cuts the most, and it does not affect the price.
