MySheetz Rewardz Explained
MySheetz Rewardz is free, and the fuel benefit starts the moment you join rather than after a spending threshold. That makes it unusual among convenience store programs. What is less obvious is what a point is worth, which is the part this page works out against real menu prices.
Updated 11 July 2026Four things the program actually does
Straight from the official loyalty program terms, with the marketing language removed.
Points on spend
Five redeemable points for every dollar spent on qualifying purchases, in store and online. Fuel, alcohol, tobacco, lottery and gift cards do not earn.
Fuel discount from day one
Three cents a gallon off every fill up simply for being a member. No points needed and no threshold to cross.
Points toward fuel
Points convert to additional fuel savings as well as food, which is often the higher value redemption for a commuter.
Ranks
A separate yearly counter moves you through membership ranks, unlocking further ways to save as you spend across the year.
Purchases that do not earn points
The exclusion list is where most confusion about a missing points balance comes from.
| Purchase | Earns points? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Made to order food | Yes | The whole MTO board, in store and through the app. |
| Coffee and drinks | Yes | Self serve and made to order both count. |
| Packaged snacks and grocery | Yes | Standard shelf purchases qualify. |
| Fuel | No | Fuel does not earn points, but members get the standing per gallon discount. |
| Alcohol and tobacco | No | Excluded by program terms. |
| Gift cards | No | Buying a gift card does not earn. Spending one does. |
| Lottery and car wash | No | Both sit outside the qualifying categories. |
Terms are set by Sheetz and can change. The official loyalty program page is the authority.
What a typical order earns you
At five points per dollar, these are the everyday orders and what each one adds to the balance.
| Item | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|
| Caramel Macchiato Caramel and Vanilla | $3.79 | 97 cal |
| All American Dog XL Nathan's Hot Dog, Hot Dog Bun, Mustard, Ketchup, Relish | $3.99 | 561 cal |
| Banana Dark Chocolate Made with Ghiradelli | $4.59 | 171 cal |
| Breakfast Tacos Scrambled Egg, Nacho Cheese and Choice of Meat | $4.99 | 301 cal |
| Breakfast Pizza 41g Protein - Nacho Cheese, Scrambled Egg, Sausage Crumbles, Shredded Cheese | $5.99 | 894 cal |
| 2/$6 Classic Breakfast Burritos Choice of 2 Classic Breakfast Burritos | $6.00 | 538 cal |
| 3 Meat Marinara, Pepperoni, Sausage, Bacon, Parmesan, Mozzarella, Provolone | $6.29 | 1,071 cal |

Multiply the price by five for the points on that item. A ten dollar order is fifty points.
Four habits that raise the return
- 01
Scan every time, including small buys
A daily coffee is a small number of points and a large number of days. The balance builds from frequency rather than from big orders.
- 02
Add the monthly offers before you order
Offers sit in the app doing nothing until you tap Add. This is the single most commonly missed step in the whole program.
- 03
Compare food and fuel redemptions
Points go either way. For a commuter filling up weekly, the fuel conversion is usually worth more than a free snack.
- 04
Watch the expiry window
Points do not sit forever. Redeeming steadily beats hoarding toward a large redemption that expires first.
Is MySheetz Rewardz worth joining?
For anyone who buys fuel at Sheetz, yes, and the maths is not close. Three cents a gallon on a fifteen gallon fill is forty five cents, every time, for a free signup. Fill up weekly and that alone is over twenty dollars a year before a single point is redeemed.
For food only customers the case is softer but still positive. Five points per dollar on a daily coffee at $2.49 accumulates slowly, and the real value arrives through the monthly offers rather than through the points themselves. The offers are where free items actually come from.
What it is not is a reason to spend more. The program rewards frequency you already have. If you are trying to spend less at Sheetz, the meal planner and the deals page will do more for you than any points balance.
Prices come from the Sheetz ordering system for a Pennsylvania reference store and vary by location. Calorie counts are the values Sheetz publishes for the base build. Updated 11 July 2026. Found something wrong? Tell us.
