A Sheetz gift card is an unusually practical present, because the store sells fuel, coffee and hot food in the same building. What it buys is worth thinking about before you pick an amount, and this page works that out against real menu prices.

Sold in store and online through the Sheetz partner site. The right pick when the card itself is the present.
Digital cards
Delivered by email, usable immediately. Best for a last minute gift or for someone in another state.

A twenty five dollar card covers roughly a week of coffee and a couple of meals. Fifty covers a family stop with fuel left over.
Checking a balance and using a card

Check the balance online
Sheetz runs a balance checker on its own site. You need the card number and the PIN from the back.

Or ask at the register
Any store can read the balance off the card in a few seconds, which is faster than finding the PIN.

Spend it like a card
Present it at the register, at the pump or as a payment method in the app. Partial balances work fine against a larger total.

Combine with points
Paying with a gift card still earns loyalty points on qualifying purchases, so scanning your account is still worth doing.
Why a Sheetz card is a better gift than it looks
Most gift cards commit the recipient to one kind of purchase. This one covers a tank of fuel, a week of coffee at $2.49 a cup, a hot meal at any hour, or a shop for the house, all from the same balance. For someone commuting, it is close to cash.
The one thing to watch is buying from anywhere other than Sheetz or its named partner site. Discounted gift card marketplaces exist and cards bought there occasionally arrive with a drained balance. The saving is a few percent and the risk is the whole value.
